Right now the only gun i have enough 10 round mags are my Fotay beretta 96s.
You need enough for carry and training so you need more than 2 magazines.

Word of caution with the beretta magazines. The 10 rounder needs the thin base plate (cut to top), old style, al or polymer.
The bodies are as short as possible. Boy they cant let you have another 1/8 of an inch longer, no. almost zero clearance, tight but works.

I still have my G22. Have a bunch of ammo, too many mags and 9mm and 357 barrels for it. I thought of selling it but I think I'm just going to keep it up at my daughters in SC so I can fly up there without dealing with a handgun.

Its OK to be .40. As....40 can easily be .357 sig or 9mm if you want to without a lot of changing anything but the barrel, mag and a part or two if going to 9mm.

Sig mags are the same. Getting that 10th round in there is really hard.

I have a bunch of reloads i reloaded like, .e 15 years ago. that are straight lead and un jacket. they lead up the barrel, have to shoot some of those with caution, i'll do little batches at a time.

Carry ammo in 40 matters even less than 9 almost all of the major brands have great terminal ballistics. Since leaving MA I don’t carry 40 anymore but when I lived there and was limited to 10 rounds… I carried Golden Sabers, HST & Ranger interchangeably. all 180 grain, in a G27 and G23. same poa, poi, recoil impulse as any standard 180grain range fodder I put through either gun.

LOL Yup....all I know is if I leave it up at my daughters and its the only pistol I have to keep up there....and I run out of .40. I can go to the store and find one of three calibers and be back in business. I like that about it.
