M1a need information

Hi I found a M1a for sale but it says m14s made in China, are they good or junk? thanks Steve

The Chinese make good receivers, but their bolts used to be soft. Fulton Armory used to replace these with GI bolts.
Have it checked out by a competent smith, especially the head space.

Norinco or Polytech? I just sold my Norinco that had a USGI bolt put in it. Nice rifle.
