Mass Glock CCW?

Only the ones that hold more than 10 rounds. This can’t be a serious f***en question…

If you’re worried about what kind of Glock you can carry, you probably shouldn’t even carry a gun because you’re gonna be way too scared to use it

You can own or carry any Glock as long as the magazine is state compliant meaning 10 rounds or less. I’m not even sure if the preban rule applies any more, maybe someone else can weigh in on that.

Glocks can be bought through private sales (our classifieds here are a good source) and some shops sell them anyway.

There are no laws against owning and carrying a Glock in Massachusetts.

I have 6-7 of them myself. Not really sure, I’d have to go count.

How long have you lived in MA?

We have this thing called 'the roster'

The roster is only for dealers, it has absolutely nothing to do with what we can own or carry.

We have this thing called 'the roster' that only impacts what a dealer can sell.

The only limitation on what you as an inmate can possess/carry is MGL 140 131M which prohibits large capacity feeding devices and assault style firearms. Glocks are not assault style firearms so all glocks can be legally carried.

Jesus haha! Let me rephrase…

In MA, which 9mm Glock do you conceal carry? And what mods did you do that was worth it?

I live in MA so I wanted to know which ones are realistically obtainable via private or gun shop sale. i.e. Im thinking of buying a G43x. But is a trigger job a must do especially if it has ~10lb trigger?

The roster doesn’t have a damn thing to do with what you can carry. The roster concerns what dealers can sell, not what you can buy, or what you can possess or what you can carry. And I’m moving this to the MA law section.

Which 9mm CCW Glocks are allowed in MA? Can some please share a list?

Glock is meant to be stock. It'll survive a nuke and that's that.

If you "must" add a "mod," then put in their performance trigger. End of thread.

None of my Glocks are stock. Not a one. Let’s see, I’ve got 3 Glock 34s, one 23, two 19s, and a 43x. So that’s 7. And I sold a 17 and a 26.

You do you. I’ve been carrying a G19 Gen 3 since 2016. First gun I ever bought. She’s got close to 11k rounds through her. The only thing I changed was the sights. Zero hiccups at all.

I’ve also been carrying a 22 Gen 4 for work since 2018 and have also never had an issue with the factory setup as we can’t make modifications to our duty pistol.

Some people have never had issues with factory and some people have never had issues with upgrades.

That being said, I’ve seen more issues with people who’ve modified their Glocks than those who have not.

Is just over 1k rounds a year supposed to be a lot?

Ha! My first centerfire pistol was a 1911 and I ended up trading it for a Glock 19.

Sup dude, sorry that’s there is a bunch of know it all douche bags that wait for a new post to call people incompetent instead of being helpful.

There’s a thing called frame transfers. By obtaining a Glock through a frame transfer you can legally carry it. Laws in this state suck and it’s even harder to get an understanding of them when retards comment useless information.

Frame transfers aren’t really a thing now under the new laws. Now and under the old law, the roster only matters to dealers. You can buy any Glock private party. How you obtain it has no bearing on what’s lawful to carry.

I know a couple FFL’s that are still slinging Glocks however I’m sure private sale is easier considering OP hasn’t developed a good relationship with an FFL/ is new to the game we play here. Solid Info, thank you!
