He also said this, “a 22 to the tear duct stops more decisivley than a 9 to the wishbone” So there’s that.I know Ayoob is not very popular around these parts, but IIRC he wrote " a 25 is a nice thing to have when you don't have a gun"
Any particular reason why you say that?I know Ayoob is not very popular around these parts
People love to rag on anything "outdated" but the truth is that oftentimes the old timers can still have very useful advice. I try to look at both new and old and make up my own mind from there.Any particular reason why you say that?
Mass guys with LTC's... do you carry .45 or 9mm?
Wow, that's awesome. Your gun is good through another 4 world warsI thought my choice was 9mm, but my Shield's barrel is stamped WW6, so I'm not so sure what I carry these days.
I doubt the 686 will be much, if any, lighter. And you can really pull the 1911 close to the body.My 1911 CMD is a bit heavy but I have carried that a few times. I am looking into a S&W 686 + .357, 3 inch. I will see how that goes.
I regret selling my 686 and 65 2.5 years ago. I was doing the one in, one out policy. For all you new gun owners just bite the bullet and keep every gun you buy or you will have sellers remorse.I doubt the 686 will be much, if any, lighter. And you can really pull the 1911 close to the body.
I have a 4" - 686. One of my favorite guns by far. It's pretty hefty.
But don't let me talk you out of a 686. Awesome gun.
I am not playing handball with you...
Wait. Humans have wishbones...?He also said this, “a 22 to the tear duct stops more decisivley than a 9 to the wishbone” So there’s that.
Whenever someone says BBQ gun, I immediately think of this... Pure class.Would that be considered a barbeque gun?
