Your correct the little spring on the U shaped part goes bye bye as well. That's what activates the mag safety. Or shall I say deactivates it when you put the mag in. The spring depresses moving the part out of the way so the striker can move forward fully
I really like the 9c so far it's a little ammunition finicky, im not used to that cause glocks arent but as long as junk isn't in there it runs fine. I think the spring that's in it is a tad stiff that can be changed with aftermarket parts if needed. It's the trigger that makes this gun and with defense ammo it's reliable.
