I had a brass rat ask me if I was keeping my 45acp. I said no.....all yours if you want it. HeHswept some into a pile....picked up a handful and looked at em.....said "ah shit these are small primers".....and walked away......leaving the pile for me to scoop up and throw away. Fussy old bastard!

Someone sweeping up around your lane is just asking for a WTF U DO'N!
I sweep up the lanes around me if no ones there.
I make it a point to ask shooters around me if they keep their brass if they say no I just say I will sweep up for them.
If they say yes I make sure to tell them I want my brass.
For most shooters this does not seem to be a problem. There are others that need a word.
