If Mumbles fires up the old buyback program in Boston again, that is.

Hey, Ethel, look what the boy done dragged up while fishin' down to the creek!

Seriously, talk about immeasurable craposity.

The holster is worth more than the gun, I can tell you that much.

Anyone looking for a holster for a Colt/Browning .25 ACP pocket pistol?

But, hey, the price was right ($0.00) and they were part of the package deal with the Stevens single-shot shotgun (also $0.00).

any idea what the first gun is?
reason i ask is i came into a gun looking the same as the first one you posted.
i have tried searching the web for clues as to it's make and model but havent found much.the condition isnt much better than what you have but it was free.

It is a Harrington and Richardson top-break. I am guessing in .32 S&W. I think they are called the Safety Hammerless model. If you decide to shot yours make sure the ammo is .32 S&W not .32 S&W Long.

thanks for the info Coastie.
i really have no plans to shot it though,it's not in great shape and i dont want darwin to show me the way.

Yep.

The H&R is the gun that the "craposity" comment was directed at. The mousegun is a .25 acp Colt/Browning knock-off made by Esperanza y Unceta (Spain).

It's actually in decent working condition.

I'm wearing it right now. It's a cute little bugger.

[wink]man, I have a .410 bolt action that I could't even give away at $75 on the classified. So yeah... maybe they'll do another $200 buy back

The last buy back was for working pistols only. The gun had to be functional. I tried to "turn one in" and was refused after getting the Third Degree. Their "No questions asked" policy was bullshit. I DID NOT fit the profile of who they wanted guns from.

From all I read, they didn't get many of thems type of profiles [rofl]

That H&R is, technically, functional. Doesn't mean I'm gonna shoot it anytime soon.

If you went to a buyback in MA with no ID or LTC, with the firearm packaged in accordance with the requirements of the buyback, you could explain to the nice, friendly officer that if you leave the buyback with that gun, you'll be subject to felony arrest and prosecution.

Of course, they'd simply take the gun and tell you to go screw.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to drafting the plans for the soon-to-be dug Stateline Moat.
