I'm looking for a shop/smith that can index and pin/attach a muzzle brake for me. It's a Fulton armory 18.5" .308 barrel that is already threaded.

I'm located right at the RT-84/Mass pike junction, I'd prefer some place local to me but would be willing to drive if I had to.

Can anyone make some suggestions?

I had mine done at Remsport. Very cool machine shop. Call ahead to make sure the shop is open before you go.

What kind of brake? Just curios, i'm looking for a 30cal brake for an AR.

I just got off the phone with John at Remsport and I'm all set.

Here is the deal on what I'm doing...

I'm rebarreling my LR308 from the stock 24" fluted barrel, down to a 18.5" SS barrel from Fulton. The barrel nut will need to be swapped from one barrel to the other. That will require removal of my current pinned brake (JP tank brake), John says he will more than likely be able to remove this brake with out damage... so if anyone wants it you are more than welcome to it, as I will be using a slightly different variation of the same brake on my new barrel.

Hell... the barrel is up for sale on the cheap if anyone is interested.[smile]

This is the current configuration and brake...

Just do it yourself with silver solder. It's very simple to do.

The new brake needs to be indexed and I dont have a lathe... not big on the washer look. While its there being indexed might as well have them pin it also.

Yup... I enjoy paying back the NES family whenever I can.

For anyone in the Worcester area, consider Pullman Arms. They just installed (permanently pinned) a Carlson Mini Comp on my AR upper, and it looks terrific! You'd never know it was pinned unless you really look carefully. Charged $70

Have you shot it yet? Interested in how you like the mini comp.
