Found this Baikal IZH-35M in a local shop and I couldn't pass it up!
Of course... the first thing I did was pull the entire thing apart!! The quality of the working parts was impressive, the trigger is fully adjustable for travel, sear engagement, and position. It looked like it had never been dissassembled fully as I found some metal chips from manufacturing in places, and the trigger screws had never been touched
, so I definitely got a mint gun!
Went to the firing line in manchester to give it a run through, along with the new buckmark. This was the best I was able to do at 15 yrds with the Baikal from the bench:
And with the buckmark bullseye:
Both of these with CCI standard velocity. CCI mini-mags worked well in both also. I fired a bunch of American Eagle too, but got one non-fire in the baikal with them, and a stovepipe in the buckmark once. Overall I liked how both pistols performed, and any bad shots I'd attribute to my lack of skills and not the weapons themselves. I like CCI standard best in both of them. Anyone have recommendations on where to buy large quantities of these cheap?![Grin [grin] [grin]](/xen/styles/default/xenforo/smilies.vb/041.gif)
