Supposedly they have 10,000 already in the distribution channel. I'd try placing an order if it were on my wishlist. Distributors should have them already.
I wonder if you can still shoot it without the barrel attached ...
Does this mean the AR-7 is no longer awesome?<sarcasm>
I don't know, but my Marlin Papoose may have just gone up for sale.
Damn you, Sturm Ruger!! Just when my gun lust list was getting down to manageable proportions you had to go and do THIS!!!
How much do you want for it?
I said "MAY", Matt. Down, boy. It all depends on what kind of cash I can scrape together for it. Might sell one of the LTRs, instead.
Hey, bonus time is coming up and I was reminded I don't have a takedown rifle yet... Just thinking ahead.
What would be the advantages of this? I'm just wondering. I can't think of one instance where I would use this feature myself.
Sorry to hijack the thread a little but I understand the pros of owning a takedown, are there any cons? How is the accuracy, are the materials used in construction different, feel of tightness, etc?
Besides the cool factor, this would be a great hiking/camping gun.
Might be a dumb question...
Why would this .22 be any better than my 4" .357 for hiking/camping?
