If you provide the actual address of the smilie it will show. But you will also be using the other forum's bandwidth when you do that. And that isn't looked at favorably. [wink]

Ah, I knew it wasn't kosher. I've never seen extraneous smileys in any other forum than this one (and I read and moderate quite a few others of varying topics).

But my next question, Derek, is will you be adding any of these neato smileys people are pulling in from all over? [wink]

I will be adding some of them. If I add the really large ones it messes up the smilie table, so I will avoid those. [wink]

Ah, I never thought to right-click them and check properties because most of the other forums I frequent have their own native menus of smilies. I thought this thread was announcing the availability of new ones for a local table here, and that I just couldn't find the link to the list, hence my questions.

It is very bad form to steal the bandwidth from other servers to use their smilies here (it is the bandwidth usage that costs $$$), so if Derek can implement some locally, that would really be best.
