Well, it might not be a firearm, but is sure is fun to play with. [devil]

Steve Woods the maker of the knife, purchased a rifle from me. He offered me the knife at what I could assume was his cost for material... Being of a knife enthusiast, how could I possibly say no.[grin]

really nice looking knife...i got a gerber lmf II at the fun show today...i love mean looking fixed blade knives but cant rationalize spending over $300 for some of them...seems like every time i find one i want to get i think to myself that for a few more dollars i can get something that i can defend myself with from a few hundred yards away

What's there to rationalize? buy one if you want one.[smile]
You needing a rifle to defend yourself at a few hundred yard is about as rational as me needing a knife that will go through a man's sternum. The chances of either of us doing that is nill. But that hasn't stop either of us getting what we want. Don't think, just buy[grin]

I agree. I've spent over 1,000 on a sword because I simply had to have a Conan replica. I'll never use it to chop and cleave my way to Thulsa Doom but I wanted one and got it. We only exist on this mudball once, get what you want while you can.[wink]

+1. I am a knifemaker and I always supprt collectors who choose a maker over production stamp-outs. I see steve is a JS smith, something im practicing for and have been for a year or two...you should see the test!

G10 is a great scale material!? Looks to be fully takedown, as well. A very nice feature.

Some nice milling work, too, on those scales....

Very nice purchase!
