A PDW is one gun that I really want and would be willing to do a tax stamp for. Nice.MP5K-PDW: Personal Defense Weapon.
In 1991 a further variant of the MP5K was developed, designated the MP5K-PDW (PDW—Personal Defense Weapon) that retained the compact dimensions of the MP5K but restored the fire handling characteristics of the full-size MP5A2. The MP5K-PDW uses a side-folding synthetic shoulder stock (made by the U.S. company Choate Machine and Tool), a “Navy” trigger group, a front sight post with a built-in tritium insert and a slightly lengthened threaded, three-lug barrel (analogous to the MP5-N). The stock can be removed and replaced with a receiver endplate. A rotary drum with apertures from the MP5A2 can also be used.
i fixed it... eeeeeeeeeeventually. that was a brutal jam however. serves me right for going almost as short as i could take a 5.56. apparently size does matter after all!

Just finished it tonight. Got to get to the range and adjust the gas block.
I just squeaked under my goal of 5 lbs.

AAC 762-SDN-6 on a 8.5" 300blk barrel. The hand guard is a 7.6" Samson Evolution, I probably couldn't have made a better fit if I had measured it out with a tape. I was hoping to put some C4 HK style diopter sights on it, but it seems as though no one has them in stock anymore. I will likely drop a PA T-1 knock off on it and be happy. Should be shooting some subs through it this weekend.

Also got that brass rod thing I made for your aborted hk build.
hilariously i got that welded and those were the only welds that held.
the rest of my welds were... we're just not gonna talk about that.
