BTW, I am almost done with mine. Test fires OK and now just Cerakote, permanently mount wood stock etc. and I'll have pics for Atilla and all. Will eventually SBR it.

Yup, it's a McKay receiver and the completion kit from RTG parts. Bolt group is coming tomorrow and the stamp is already filed. Going with Green Mountain Barrels for the short barrel once the stamp is approved.

Ive owned it since 2007 in its current configuration. Last week I sold it and my uzi model-B sbr to Zero Hour Arms. Just waiting for the Form 4's to be approved. Look for both guns to be on sale there in a few months.

To a real collector yes. To a real shooter no.
There are many clones available that are just as reliable as the HK. DJ Gets, Atlantic, and others make great clones. The only difference is the price.
