NY - Cop Shoots Man After Being Wounded With His Own Taser

A Kingston police officer wounded with his own Taser shot his teenage assailant in the hip Thursday morning in Midtown Kingston, authorities said.

The teen, Eric Pearson, was able to take away the cop's Taser and, after a chase, fired the weapon at him, police said. The officer, Michael Pederson, 29, was struck in the head with a Taser dart but was not seriously hurt. He was being treated at a local hospital and was expected to be released soon.

After being injured, the officer fired one shot with his gun, striking Pearson's left hip, police said. The wound was not considered life-threatening.

Kingston is a funny ass place. I go to a car show there and that area is pretty hood IMO.
