There is another lesson here:
Even with a legit secure CCW, and it gets snagged - for God Sake - don't try to get it back if you are outnumbered by a pack of thugs!!!
Let it go unless you have a Back Up Gun at the ready.
This poor kid was not thinking straight and kinda got drawn in to retrieve his gun back.
You gotta know when to hold em, gotta know when to fold em.

Regarding gas stations at night: I don't care if people call me a pu55y - if surrounded by thugs and I'm unarmed - I'd be happy to hand over my money to avoid a trip to the hospital. I'm always armed though. If I was gang rushed somebody drew down on me and totally got the drop on me - I'd sooner hand over the money than dry to play catch up and get shot while drawing back. That is if I was alone and didn't have anyone to protect. Every situation is different though.

So I was reading some stories about what happened. Apparently when he went outside to follow them, his buddies came out of their vehicle. Noticed they stole his gun and took a rifle out and that’s where the gunfire started happening. One dead not sure who tho

Yea das why when I go out to questionable places I carry my Samsung A35 I got for FREE from Total Wireless lol. Leave the primary much more expensive S25+ at home. Looks the shit but much cheaper device. Get blacked, just go home and remote wipe it thru Google Find Device.

I'll be the rare guy to call it, but Colion Noir really isn't anything special. He speaks very plainly and really isn't all that intelligent. I don't understand his cult following.
I recall some who were attempting to flame me over saying how f-ing stupid open carry is when in an urban environment. Was back during the Texas Open Carry nonsense with the neckbeards and their AR's at Walmart and Starbucks.
