I was doing some internet scouting of fishing holes just now at:
http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/habitat/maps/ponds/pond_maps.htm

I was surprised to find that I've really fished a lot of places over the years. Here's a list I just came up with, in no particular order ... I know I'm missing a few:

Lake Mattawa - Orange
Lake Rohunta - Orange
Webster Lake - Webster
Quabbin Reservoir - from Gate 8
Singtary Pond - Sutton
A-1 Site - Westboro
Big Alum - Sturbridge
Whitin Reservoir - Douglas
Dark Brook Reservour - Auburn
E. Brimfield Reservoir - Sturbridge
Browning Pond - Spencer
Tully Lake - Royalston
Demond Pond - Rutland
Long Pond - Rutland
Wachusett Reservoir - W. Boylston
Chauncy Lake - Shrewsbury
Asnacomet Pond - Hubbardston
Walker Pond - Sturbridge
Buckley Dunton Reservoir - Becket
Lake Garfield - Monterey
Windsor Lake (aka Fish Pond) - North Adams
Upper Spectacle Pont - Otis
Wallum Lake - Douglas
South Pond - Savoy
Otis Reservoir - Otis

Mikey and I were out on Walker Pond today! Nice day, a little windy and we didn't catch a damn thing[thinking]

Oh well just means we have to keep going back til we do[wink]

I've fished a lot of Cape ponds for smallies and some for regular nightime fishing.
Ashumet, John's, Great Herring, Long Pond (in Harwich/Brewster). They're all good ponds for fall smallmouth action, especially John's if you fish the drop offs at about 25'.
More locally in Mass. I've fished Watuppa, Bilington Sea, Long Pond in Lakeville, Tispaquin (great place for shallow water spinnerbait action btw), but mainly I stick to the Rochester ponds like Mary's and Snow's when I can sneak in there because its off limits to the public even though its huge.[rolleyes]
