I have been involved with preparedness for a few years, almost my whole life if you count the "rainy day" lessons from my youth.
I have been around long enough to know that I have more shortcomings in my skills then I even realize.
I was wondering if anyone ever proposed a weekend event for a sharing of knowledge, swap meet, camp out type of function?
It would be a good time to practice preps, get ideas from others and maybe make some worthwhile connections.
Maybe you have 10 years of HAM experience but have never reloaded ammo, used a water filtration set or even know how to properly sharpen a knife.
Trading knowledge and skills while enjoying some time away.
Just a thought on my part.
What are your thoughts?

It really depends on what the need is. If someone has a specific issue, I've been known to help. Ultimately, it's about sustainment, though. That's tough to teach at a swap meet. What are your goals from this?
