Press for processing rifle brass

you can't swage on a 750, but even than that's a possibility.

I already have 2 - 650s. I like to keep one set up for 9mm handgun, but that could be swapped over to process brass pretty easily except for the swage.
I never used this so not sure how well it works.

Use of that Swage-It will nuke your 650/750 warranty.
Slightly shocked that Dylan doesn’t have some sort of automated prima pocket, swage set up I don’t think it would take much to make a automated case prep press that could be set up to size And swage along with even trimming.

I know a few people that bought the Lee PP just to do the primal pockets. I personally have not seen the set up with the people. I know that have them would’ve called me by now if it was a problem. I have there are CBS Prima pocket tool it’s fine if you’re working with the same lot of head stamp Brass. If you have brass that has a thicker or thinner, web than what you set the tool up for it could be problematic.

Educate me. Do you send your own brass out to be processed?

Or do you just sell your unprocessed brass and buy processed brass??

Can you share some places that do this? I'm curious.

When you say "pennies per case" are we talking 20 pennies or 5??
See my post above with the link. Yes I send it out to be fully processed. Cleaned sized trimmed, primer pockets reamed etc. I do not sell the brass.

Looks like he’s raised his prices since earlier this year. So like 5-6 pennies per case (assuming 2500 cases fits in a large flat rate USPS box) when factoring in your shipping cost to him.

I still have a girard triway trimmer that I chuck into my cordless drill. Prob should sell it 😂

So for $129 plus shipping he preps 2500 cases. That's fantastic. I'm happy to use my hand primer pocket swagger and Giraud trimmer for the 1000 rounds of precision ammo I make each year.

THANK YOU!!!!!. At the volumes I shoot my AR, it's really not worth spending $1500 to $2000 to set myself up to process .223 brass in bulk.

Yep, I’ve used him twice so far and no issues

I've used this company right nearby in NH.

Connor is good people.

Correct.

The screws tend to loosen up and cause issues with the frame. I don't know what part those screws hold on normally. But if there are problems, Dillon will deny the claim.

I kind of feel like if Dillon is going to give me a lifetime warranty , that I've used probably 10 times over the years, sometimes for stuff I screwed up, I should play by their rules.

Hi all. I'd like to buy a press with more than 5 stations that I can use for processing .223 brass.

I'd rather not pay $2000 for a Dillon 1050 or 1100.

I noticed that Frankford Arsenal makes their X10. A 10 station press for $1200.

As a Dillon customer I'm used to being taken care of. I suspect you are pretty much on your own with this press.

Because of some professional affiliations I have, I can actually get the Frankford X10 for $840, which includes 10 stations set up for one caliber, with a primer pocket swagger and a shell feeder.

I will still reload on my D650.

Am I nuts to try this Frankford? Yes, I know a 1050 is a better machine, and will be supported 20 years from now. For free. But $840 vs $2300 is a big number.
I have a All American 8 by Lyman. Really robust press, and others like it, Redding, RCBS, etc... are really nice presses. What I really like is Creedmore sports make a turret head up grade that I think you would like for the Redding T7 for 200 bucks. The T7 is a bit pricy but is worth it, if you can spare the money. I had Lyman T Mag 2 that worked ok but didn't like the priming system. Even the All American priming system I'm not crazy about, it's sloppy.
