The firearm cannot be within arms reach thats all ive found so therefore gun has to be locked in trunk.

You've posted the NH law. There is nothing in that law that says the firearm can not be within arms reach.

I was pulled over in Meredith with my S12 on my back seat (legit light out stop) I had my S12 on the back seat, no case, unloaded, not locked, ammo in the trunk. Officer told me I had a light out, said "nice piece" and that was it. I'd love to know the mythical law I was breaking, because I was a MA resident at the time with no NH license.

Checked out mfl yesterday really nice place, everyone well almost everyone of the workers were nice and the RO that helped me learn the system to send out the target only wish the lane could've been further because I only have rifles. Ill definately be there again.
