Rear sight tool for M&P Shield

Just got back from Peabody and Business End Customs. Lou made it look easy changing out my sights. I couldn't move that rear sucker. He installed some Tru-Glo TFO sights for me. I like the TFOs. Nice and bright for my antique eyes.

Thanks, Lou.
Could you post a picture. I'm thinking about doing the same and need to do it for the same reason.

I have a MGW short throw shifter in my Mustang and it's probably considered one of the best. Well built and you can really slam those gears with confidence. I wouldn't think twice about buying one of these.

The problem with the shield rear sight and they are heavy handed with the loc-tite on the sight screw and it seeps into the dovetail and locks everything solid. I took a 1/4" x 3/8" piece of brass bar stock and ground it down to fit the sight. A could of whacks with my dead blow hammer knocked it loose when I had the slide clamped in a huge vise.

You may want to try a soak in acetone OR a heat gun to loosen the loc-tite.
