Do rem700's police come in 338? or the rem700sps tactical? I really want one for my next build. If so price?

Looks like .300 Win. Mag and .300 Rem. SA Ultra Mag are their longer range choices.

Doesn't seem to be in their online catalog, but retailers have it for > $1500, and gunbroker prices seem to be about $1400. It's a nice setup for that price. Just search it on gunbroker to see - there are quite a few of them.

There is also the 700XCR-II in .338 Win Mag and .338 Remington Ultra Mag, but I'm betting you're talking Lapua and that's looking like just the MLR and the 40-XS(?). Anyhow the XCR-II in case you care: http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire/model-700/model-700-xcr-ii.aspx

I'd guess so -- That's a stock item, so why not drop by a store and get a quote or search gunbroker to get some ballpark prices?

Exactly. Buy a budget model cause or a action if you can find one. Then have a gunsmith fit you a nice barrel to it. You will end up with a FAR better end result for the same or slightly money depending on the named on the barrel of course.
