I inherited a Ruger Mark I from my late father. The trigger was snapped off and I've been trying to find a replacement. Websites I've looked at (Midway, Brownells, Cheaper than Dirt), are all discontinued. Haven't even found anything on eBay. I have looked at the blown up diagrams on Brownells and tried to compare the triggers between the MKI and MKII. There seems to be no difference. This leads me to believe I could "drop" in any aftermarket VQ or equivalent trigger with no problems, or with minor fitment issues. My other concern is spending $100 on a trigger kit, to just use the trigger and junk the rest of the parts if they are not compatible. Are my notions correct? if not, some advice would be great!
