SBRGC Range closure South Berwick ME

Does anyone have any information about the rifle and pistol range being closed at south berwick rod and gun club?

We received the following message via e-mail Saturday morning at 6:10.

PLEASE NOTE:

SBRGA Rifle and Pistol Ranges are closed until further notice, effective
immediately.* This matter will be discussed at the next regular meeting of
the club.

The story i heard was a 50 cal bullet left the range and hit a truck in the condo complex behind the berm. Why the club allowed 50 cals in the first place is beyond me.

The condo complex is beside not behind the range. From what I understand, the bullet was too mangled to ID the cal. It was most likely a ricochet. It went through a guys tonneau cover and was in the bed of his truck. Hope to find out more at the meeting on Tues.
