Shot Show 2025 - who is going?

Sorry, brother. Between the round trip flight, hotel, and tickets… it’s all too rich for my blood. If there’s an option to attend virtually I will do that. Otherwise, I will be there in spirit. 🫡🫡🫡

Get your gambling shoes on if you want to go to Vegas.

Last year was basically the lever action show, so I'm hoping to see Colt and Remington get back to their roots of percussion revolvers, maybe some modern ones with mounts for micro RDOs, maybe Ruger bringing back the Old Army, but doing it on a scaled up frame of the Super Wrangler as a means to keep it cheap. Heck, while they're at it, take that scaled up Super Wrangler and make it in .32 and .38 Special, call it the Ultimate Wrangler.

Kel Tec I already saw was doing something with stripper clips in a 5.7 pistol. That's another call back of the company's roots when Kellegren made a .380 with an internal magazine fed by stripper clips, so that may indeed be the theme for this Shot Show of companies going back to their roots.

Maybe Taurus can come out with a new pistol where the trigger is pulled perpendicular to the bore axis and call it the Right Angle. I mean, nobody ever wants to have the wrong angle, you always want to have the Right Angle!

S&W can copy the FK BRNO and call it the BORAT and get Sacha Baron Cohen as the spokesman for the new pistol.

NAA can show up with a variation of the same thing they've been making for 40 years and tell people they will think about making a .25 or .32 version and never do it.

I will email Taurus for the tenth time to make a modern version of the H&R Young America because everyone likes a 7 shot .22 or 5 shot .32 revolver the size of a Baby Browning.

get ready for more lever actions. maybe another manufacturer jumping into the game.
i imagine there will be suppressors everywhere, the market for those has certainly increased

I had a offer to go good friend is a Trijicon sales rep. With airfare and hotel room was a bit more then I wanted to spend maybe next year.

Since we're doing stupid talk, and wishful thinking...

A stainless .22 WMR with fiber front and ring rear sights, curved stock would be nice. I like those old ones that feed through the rear stock.

like this:

Or, maybe Ruger could bring back the .22 WMR 10/22 and model 96 (in stainless, with fiber front sight).

I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday. It's a busy time, pretty much everyone in the industry in one place for four days. I'd like to go someday and not be working; might enjoy it more. Happy to meet up with some "locals" for a drink.

Sweet, can't wait for more tactical lever action rifles!

Maybe a couple of "nevah ben dun befo" polymer guns.

Who doesn't know what Shot Show is??? It's like the ComicCon of guns..... or so I'm told. I only have seen through the lens of I
Instagram :D

You just can't buy any guns.

i guess the plus side is that you get a glimpse of what may or may not be released in the coming years by major weapons manufacturers.

I have never had a desire to go to that show.

Now, the AVN awards that generally run the same weekend as the Shor Shaw, I would travel for that :)
