I have a half american Glock ( A Gen3 G34 with a US frame) and I can't really see any difference.
There really isn't a sliding scale of quality with Glock pistols. You either get a gun that is perfect or, on some occasions, one that is really ****ed up in some way or another.

I've been lucky in the respect that most of mine have been great. ETA: Would be curious to see the finish on yota's Glock though.... there are at least 3 different finishes floating around now. Shiny black, dull gray-ish, and this other shiny black that is a slightly different shade.

Had no intention of receiving a US version. Just put in an order for a new gen 3 and that is what showed up. Glock supposedly stopped the Tenifer treating process back in 2010 to a nitrating process (environmental issues). Other then that it looks,functions like all my other glocks.

Here are my Glocks. A G17 Gen 3 for outdoors use. This one will put them right in there at 220 yards. I love long range shooting with it. The other one is a gas powered (propane) airsoft for indoor shooting. A very accurate and fun way to stay in tune when the weather goes south.
Its amazing how these two compare to each other in feel, weight, sights etc. The airsoft has metal slide etc. just like the Glock. Works for me...

Is that some nice slide work on a Gen3 17 or am I way off?
Its called the RTF2 (rough texture frame). It comes factory from Glock.
