Range report: 1914 Colt Police Positive Special (.38 special). This was the 3rd ammo I tried - Winchester 130gr FMJ/WC - at 25 feet, double action. Very smooth for 102 years old.

The first shot was the low one.

one of my favorites is the 57 no dash I purchased from a fellow NES'er...

shoots like butter with hand loads...

the only one I don't shoot is the newest one - 340 PD...[thinking]

Why dont you shoot the 640pd? I will say it isnt the most comfortable gun to shoot (especially 357) it isnt horrible either. Shoots nice with 38 special +p

nothing about the recoil it just isn't really a model suitable to take to the range and blast away at targets...
