I'll be the first to post an AR-10 and then the obligatory M1A.

Fred, you you mean the SL7 ?
There are plenty around with reservists over here, same as the SL6 (.223 cal).
Unfortunately they don't make these any more.
Has the SL6/SL7 ever been sold in the U.S. by H&K ?

I did have a SL7 and sold it!!

That was a great rifle, I do not know if they where imported. But I see one for sale now and again.

I really like this gun. Except when I'm on the receiving end of the hot brass... [smile]

Oh, I caught some blast wave to, I actually called a few shots that missed to the 3 'O clock due to getting blasted. It evened out though when Jim started shooting his AR on my right Such a good time, can't wait for the next.

First M1A

Finally, I get to add to this thread..[smile][smile][smile]
SA standard rifle, according to CS, it left the factory in March of 1976, serial no. 0054xx.
All USGI parts except for receiver and barrel.
I've had the rifle for several months, but did not find the time until Sunday afternoon to remove the clear polyurethane finish the previous owner had applied.
No sanding needed after, I just applied three coats of Formby's high gloss Tung Oil finish.

I'm so pissed at you right now. I've been trying to convince myself I don't need one...

...but after seeing yours it further enforces that I need one! Great looking rifle, my friend.
