Sig Sauer prices are sky rocketing. Take a look at these prices that the guys on the Sig Sauer forum say are normal now. P229-$750 P228-$820 P239-$850

Take a look at the prices used on Four Seasons used gun page. WOW
I guess my Sig buying days are over. While your there take a look at the S&W prices not bad compared to the Sig's

No wonder S&W stock has doubled in the last year.

I have more handguns than commen sense, over 35 of them. I love my P220 but then again I never met a handgun I disliked. Right now Sigmas are a great deal either in .40 or 9mm. The only problem with them is you have to shoot it over 500 rounds before you like it.

The heavy rigger takes some getting use to and lightens up the more you use it. One good thing about this line of pistols, they do make you a better shot. There are hard to shoot when you first get one. They really make you concentrate on your trigger control and sight picture.

I wish they were out when I taught my kids how to shoot I would have given them all a 9ve and told them just keep shooting untill you just put them all in the head. If your good with a Sigma your great with any thing else.

The Sigma is actually fairly easy to get used to, IF you don't "know better". The son-in-law adapted to his fairly quick, and he'd only shot pistols a little before he got it.

Ha HA your right about that when I first got it, my son picked it up and did great with it. I was mad because I've been shooting 40 years and couldn't the floor with it. Just go's to show your never to old to learn.

Never met an AMT Hardballer, did you? That was a POS. Couldn't wait to get rid of it. What junk.

Free advice: If anyone offers you a Hardballer, make them pay you to take it.

But I'm not bitter or nothin'. :P

I took count the other day. Then realized that with the state law saying you can't sell more than 4 a year it would take me 11 years to sell them all.

Cost of gasoline/oil? [evil]

Everything else is going up and blaming everything on the cost of transportation/fuel!

I think it was all the government contracts. Their working at full speed to full them. They also changed the way that their delivered. They stopped shipping to wholsalers. Now they ship direct to authorized ffl's. Even CCN is no longer getting alot of stuff from SIG. Doing it this way they cut out the middleman and control the amount of inventory out there and increase demand.

I paid $595 for my P220 last year. That's less than a used one now.
