i have 4 spikes lowers and 3 uppers and have assembled 4 complete guns for friends...they are g2g!
I was looking over the spreadsheet data, am I missing something. I dont see anything that tells what manufactures actually make themselves or where the parts the do not make come from.
I purchased 5 LPK 2 stag both look different with and with out markings on some of the parts. 2 RRA no differance. 1 DPMS which has a lot of the same looking marks as one of the STAG. When I get some time I will snap a few pics. This will require some disasembly. Also again WHERE do they get the lowers and uppers raw?

That's because this information is generally protected under confidentiality agreements and it is in neither company's interest to release that information.
You're seriously overthinking this way too much. And the lowers and uppers are, with a few exceptions, from 4 main forges.
is there a quality difference between the 4 forges that provide the raw.
Over thinking maybe BUT what I would like to know is HOW much and how many parts are manufacture by X company. What if we where to find out that STAGS parent company makes all the parts for X company will they then be no good?

The day after the election Spike's doubled their pricing. The idea of profiteering at our expense was just too great. Not all of the companies did this, however Spike's was one of the biggest offenders. I personally do not believe in doing business with a company that has tried to take advantage of us.

The forges are all the same quality - it's the company that finishes the receiver that determines how it goes. Quite frankly, though, just about any major brand lower receiver is going to be as good as any other - it's a static shell for the fire control group and is difficult to screw up.
As I've stated earlier, you'll find that companies will most likely not share who they get their parts from - and some may have multiple sources.
Prices were up across the board.

This, I would be more concerned about the quality of the barrel and BCG then I would about the lower receiver.
I knew there was some controversy over their stuff, I just couldn't remember it. Probably more info over at the AR forums.
I got my 1st Spike today and like it so far. Range time Sat.
I'm jealous! I really wanted that Emerson/Spikes combo!
If I didn't just get a Spike's ST-15 right before these came out, I would!
