Hey guys i have a quick question maybe someone can answer for me i have a stag model 8 and was wondering if you could upgrade the buffer action spring and buffer so it doesnt sound like a kid jumping up and down on a pogo stick? thanks for any help

Of course you can. Did you lube it? Spray some remoil in there before spending money.

The Model 8 uses the same buffer and spring as any other AR variant, I have a model 8 upper and dont seem to have any recoil issues with my commercial size buffer tube.

If money is no object, take a look at the JP Silent Captured Spring. Reviews I've seen are generally positive, though I haven't tried one myself.

Just a tad of white grease on the spring will quiet it down.
