Update Theodore, et al. v. Campbell

GOAL's Federal case against the licensing and training mandates.

On November 26th, Attorney General Andrea Campbell filed a Motion to Dismiss in response to GOAL’s complaint challenging the Commonwealth’s new licensing regime. The motion and memorandum in support of said motion, assert that the plaintiffs, GOAL included, lack standing to challenge the new licensing scheme due to, among other reasons, the recently enacted delay on the new licensing requirements. The delay that the legislature put in place due to the lack of infrastructure in place to implement their scheme.

GOAL will be working with counsel and the other Plaintiffs in the case to evaluate this filing. We will be taking steps to overcome their arguments and we are committed to fighting for our members’ rights against these new statutes.

Check GOAL page for documents.

.. one simply cannot come up with a straight face with that circle jerk argument... I fully believe at this point the state is trolling GOAL. There is no other explanation lol

That sounds like the same type of bullshit argument a chief of police gave to me in a denial letter for an LTC.

Ultimately, I prevailed in court and the judge threatened the chief that if he ever brought a case like that again he would pay dearly.

If I had the chance to do it all over again in MA, I would never have applied for an LTC or obeyed any of the bullshit laws that have been foisted on the taxpaying public. Fvck all you commie sons of bitches in MA government.

but without the ltc you can't buy anything.

I get how courts should work, but if there is a delay and there is no standing, you should still be able to argue the merits before it even goes into effect. Because we know this is mASS and there won't be an injunction.

I hope the Supreme's b-slap all of these states again next Spring. They make a ruling and every state just steps all over it. Time to explain with small words and write in crayon so they can comprehend what SHALL NOT means.
