+1 on the Fitchburg commuter line. N. Leominster is an "automatic" LTC-A community. When they fill out the form on the computer, the clerk automatically selects "all lawful purposes" and the result has been a LTC-A license. Unless, of course, you have a very checkered history...
+1... Leominster and Fitchburg are basically green. Problem is the
damned commuter rail. While it is fine for going in and out of boston,
it makes for a hell of a long day. I work in cambridge and I can beat
the train 99 out of 100 times. Hard to believe it, but I won an hour plus of my
life back every day by driving. Then that one time your on it that the
train breaks down, you will be pissed- and it always happens in the middle of the
summer on the hottest damned day. I would use it if I had to work
in boston, but only grudgingly. The only consolation prize is if your
adept at catching catnaps and reading it gives you plenty of time to do
that.
The summer also sucks cause they cut cars off the train and thus
capacity.... so the ride out is always fun as you have to sit next to
some disease ridden moonbat. (When I used to ride the train I would
get a cold a year guaranteed.... now I don't get them at all!)
Course, your price of rent will probably cut in half, too.
My vote for Vell's case would still be Arlington.
