Taking delivery of a SBR upper?

Quick question...

I'm in the process of getting my form 1 sent out on one of my pre-ban lowers and I'd like to purchase a SBR upper for it now.

The shop that I'm buying it through only has 2 of them left and I don't want to wait 2+ months for the tax stamp to come back, for fear that there will be no uppers available by then (PWS Diablo 7" piston driven upper). Could I place the order for the upper now and have it stored at friends/parents house in their safe till my form 1 clears? Neither of them own AR15 lowers.

have them buy it and sell it to you when you when you get your form 1

I would buy it and store it somewhere other than where the receiver is. If you make every attempt to keep them seperate there is no way they'll ever come up with enough evidence for constructive possession.

EDIT: I'd also be willing to hold on to it for you if I can "test" it
