Target Sports Delivering Again - Megathread

Price jumped to $50 in one day. This isn't mk262 though. It's nato 77 hollow point
The Ammo+ price is $505.77 as shown below. If anyone is thinking about a big purchases, it's really a decent deal to get the Ammo+ membership. 8% off on ammo and free shipping no matter quantity. Last weekend they even had 8% off primers. I've saved enough since "Ammo Day" in mid September to cover well over the $95 membership. Plus I got a free Bushnell speaker which works pretty well.

$1.01 556? :(

felt like a lot of words, saying nothing...like, "transparency," to me, would include some description of what they think is causing the current shortage and how soon they hope to see it ease up.

Agreed.

I’ll say that they’re notorious for raising prices after mass shootings and other bs. I remember it fondly after sandy hook.

this - I would have preferred to see more of a statement like SG makes that they are selling a batch under their cost. or they make x% on a case etc. I can respect a business that has a set. we get it for Y. mark it up to A and make X off a product. when their cost goes up. ours goes up. same when their cost goes down etc.

Let me know when they get Lake City.

That works until prices go down and the business has to sell some at a loss or below their standard markup. The business would have to sell at a markup of of X+e to make an average markup of X. You see this in the price reduction on secondary brand primers when the floodgates open up and the premier brands like Winchester suddenly become available again.

Demand tends to go up after major incidents, so not adjusting price can result in scenarios like "Unlike the other guy, our price is still $100, not $150 like the guy down the street. But we are out and he has inventory available for sale."
