Target Sports Delivering Again - Megathread

TSUSA must be fairly slow. I just placed an order for a few miscellaneous boxes (not full cases, whompwhomp) at 10:33AM, and I had a UPS tracking number at 11:37AM! Delivering tomorrow. It hasn't been this fast in a long time, probably 2-3 years.
Liquidity crunch with too much debt and consumer sentiment at the lowest levels since 2022. No anti-2A administration so all these events should bode well for those who have cash to burn on freedom seeds.

I just noticed another vendor has a flash sale. So sales must be slow.

This....two weeks is here for the gun/ammo market. Dirt cheap lowers, ammo and reloading components dropping. Hopefully prices continue downward on those, availability is certainly up. Guns all over the place and build your own shit dropping down cheap.

Great timing...as I haven't really bought alot of pistol/rifle in few years, and didn't buy barely anything during the scares.

Im stocking up/and piling up on my free state mags, which are also at dirt cheap prices 8 bucks for a magpul, and filling them up with rounds.

I really haven't hit the stride on ammo and primers....as I think the market is gonna get better, Im just a little tariff worried. Bullets Ive gotten some great deals lately.

Powder is trending downward as well and much more available. Unless your talking Reliant powders, but Im finding subs and some of them like Win 572 meter a lot better than Unique.

This works out cause I can say I ordered this weeks ago when it shows up. :)

I really like TS but they never have sales on different calibers other than 22, 9, 45, 223, 308 etc. I’d love to see a sale on things like 45-70, Garand Safe 30-06 or other super expensive ammo they have.

Really , I snagged several of the PPU ammo cans with “M2” 30-06 on sale
Wish I bought more it was selling for $390/500 at the time and poking around soon after it was $319/500
Now its $1 rnd

I am not sure we’re gonna see that stuff on sale ever again. I really can’t see a production over run on 45-70 or even service Rifle 30-06

But if you reload for that garand I may have some stuff for you

Anyone else just get an email purportedly from @TargetSportsUSA with a link for a "scanned document waiting"?

I clicked through, with safety considerations in place, and the site it lead to was immediately flagged as unsafe.

There was no explanation what the email, that came for a named individual purportedly at TSUSA, was about.

I forwarded the email to a known good email address for TSUSA with the following query,

Target Sports USA,

Did you guys get hacked?

The attached email is purportedly from your company, to the email I use as an Ammo + member.

I do not know what this attachment is that arrived without explanation and referring to a "document".

The link leads to a shady looking site that my antivirus immediately flags.

Please advise, is this your company and if so what is it about.

Anyone else?

No I didn't, but I do get other emails from Target Sports on a regular basis.

Was the address "sales@targetsportsusa.com" and nothing else??? If it was anything else like sales@targetsportsusa with other gibberish.com then it is a phishing scam.

It was womansname @ targetsportsusa.com (I am not going to use the actual email here) and the body of the email had a signature line with that name and the proper contact info for @TargetSportsUSA. However other than the sentence, “Please see attached document”, there was no explanation, nothing else. And as I say clicking on the link lead to a site declared unsafe by my antivirus. I got that far and closed the browser window.

you weren't expecting it, clue 1
an attached document isn't a link to a site clue 2
I'm betting the link isn't to the companies domain clue 3

frankly an obvious phishing attempt

I got an reply back from the message I sent forwarding the questionable email to sales@targetsportsusa.com

The reply, from a named individual at TSUSA was, "Thank you for reaching out. This is a scam, please do not open it."

So I guess this confirms that at least to some extent @TargetSportsUSA customer database has been compromised. This was a targeted message to my private email associated with my TSUSA Ammo+ account, not some random phishing attempt.

I was very disappointed that the confirmation contained no further info than "this is a scam".

I mean TSUSA has more info on file about me than just my email, that is in fact the least of it.

What is up @TargetSportsUSA ??

Or your account has been compromised. They only need to see one email between you and targetsports to know you interact with them. The don't need to actually send the email from them for it to look like it came from them.
Post DM the message headers, that will show where it actually came from.

Well it came through an outlook.com server, and targetsportsusa.com does use this, but it did not come through they domain. So it wasn't sent using one of their accounts. Unfortunately that doesn't help in determining if the info was lifted from them or you. I agree that they are the more likely source, but it doesn't tell us if it was an individual employee's email that was compromised or a break into their database.

spam email are a pain, but credit card numbers can cause big problems. Personally this is why I use virtual cards, someting like this happens I just delete the card they have on file. If you can, I'd say you should do this. It may not help, but it can't hurt.
