Hey Joe-
I mean this with the utmost respect, so don't take it out of context. When you said no one would train with you, I thought you would be teaching some kind of MMA / street style fighting based on your expertise in hand to hand survival skills.
If the video you posted is an example of what you're talking about, then no thanks. I'm at a point in my life where it doesn't really make a lot of sense to do suicides, run hills with a weight vest, and then break my buddy's nose while some dude blows a whistle and hollers at me. That's more like Jr. Pee Wees, and if I feel like running around and grappling then there'll be Roman candles and a handle of Jack involved.
If you're talking about setting up something like you demonstrate in this video for people to learn, then I'm definitely in.

I'm always up for a challenge, and always looking to learn something new. I don't know anything about MMA style fighting except for the fact that it's another stylized form of serious physical competition in which both combatants expect to live through the contest. It's not "survival" fighting, or "combat" in the sense that you're going to end the fight immediately in a way which most likely results in someone's death.
So I'm not walking away from your challenge to train if you want to set up something involving technique / technical skills that I can learn from. Early September is probably best for me. I'm pretty tied up for all of July and August with work stuff.
And if you really have the idea that I'll come down and run around in a vest and then fight one of your dudes on video, then I'd have to put it off until probably November at the earliest. That way I can change up my own personal fitness regimen to start putting on mass instead of stripping it off like I've been doing.
Personally, I'd want to toss on 30lbs or so before mixing it up the way they do, and it would take me that long to do it with my current schedule.
