I don't think you can build the same LMT, they don't make a SRP upper in 10.5". Also not sure why it's so expensive, it's the same price as the full size 16" piston rifle, should be cheaper.

What happens if you want to SBR a pistol that would otherwise be illegal in MA? Case in point, CZ Scorpion Evo as a Pistol not only isn't on the "list" and is not compliant so it can't be transfered, but it also can't even be possesed in MA as it would fall under "assault pistol"

It would be perfectly legal to SBR with 922r conversion parts, but, since no factory SBR exists, there's no way to take possession to even file a form 1

It may be irrelevant, as CZ has announced a carbine version that already has the stock and 922r parts but that also means cutting down a barrel and replacing a handguard

Sorry to dig up an older thread, but had a question on this. Lets say you could get just the receiver of the Scorpion and transfer it as parts. Couldn't you Form 1 the receiver and then obtain the rest of the parts once your Form 1 was approved?

Go the NFA Trust route to bypass it until ATF 41P goes into effect in July.

New ATF Regs also take away the need for a police sign off so if your willing to wait a trust isn't really necessary
