The biggest (and best, in my opinion) is
www.gunbroker.com

Then there is
www.auctionarms.com

and
www.ebang.com
(more of a listing of other auction sites)

There are many others, but these are the most popular. The reason I like gunbroker is that they have a 15-minute rule: if anyone bids in the last 15 minutes, a 15-minute clock starts again. This creates a true auction environment where a bidding war decides who comes out on top. With the others, once the time limit arrives, that's it. People with quick computers and connections can make last second bids and win a bid, with no time left to counter-bid. These bastards are known as "snipers."

Sometimes you can get great deals, and sometimes the bidding pushes the price well beyond reasonable. Unfortunately, there are some folks out there who would rather over-pay on a firearm, then "lose." That's why you have to know your absolute limit for a particular gun, and be willing to walk away if that limit is exceeded.
