CDL drivers are 0.004, because we are held to a higher standard. But police, judges and lawyers are 0.008, like Joe average. They also should be held to higher standards.

They enforce the laws. The penalty for breaking them should be double.

Something similar recently happened to the Hampden county sheriff. He rolled up to the casino in Springfield in his police car missing a tire. He first said someone else was driving then admitted he was out golfing and driving. He did not take the field sobriety test. Nothing involving a gun though.

He got treated like anyone else would, suspended license and has to take a driving class.

I'm sure it must have been mentioned on here somewhere.
