This event is open to the public (free) at Sharon MA Public Library, 11 No. Main St. (Rte. 27) at 7PM.

Michael Tougias, author of the book The Finest Hours, will be speaking at the Sharon Public Library on Thursday October 15th at 7:00 pm downstairs in the Community Room. This program is funded by the Friends of the Sharon Public Library and is hosted by the Sharon Public Library Veteran's Club. The Finest Hours will be in cinemas soon - presented by Disney Studios. Free program. Refreshments. All Welcome.
 
He gave a talk a couple of years ago at the Merrimack Public Library. I had already read the book and wanted to get more information. He did another great book called "Ten Hours till Dawn" which took place during the Blizzard of '78 in Gloucester Harbor.
