want to get a .22 rifle, and don't know witch one to get.

Another vote for the Ruger 10/22. Your could but new or pick up one used for less money. Build it to suit with all the after market parts and have fun...

Dwarven, it's Tactical Solutions that you were trying to think of. One of the 10/22s that I brought to B&K a couple of months back had a TS receiver.

THESAW - I'd definitely recommend the TS barrels too if you are looking for something lightweight. I love the pair I'm running right now.

Aloha
Thanks, Doug.

THESAW - Doug has some serious TS goodies. Those guns of his are AMAZING.

10/22 take down looks kinda cool... just saying

Yup. If only they'd come out with it 6 months sooner, before I bought my Papoose!

10/22. Everyone needs at least 5 of them.

Hmm... I only have 3 so far. Lessee... one Takedown, and then build one with a Tacticool Solutions receiver and I'm there!

I decided to get a 10/22, and saw few of them in a shop, and especially interested in the one with a heavy barrel, is it a good choice or should I get a basic one.

There's no single right answer. The great thing is that you can change barrels in a jiffy. I'm happy with the basic barrel.

I just bought the 10/22 takedown, and love it. I put a cheap 3x9 scope on it, and bought some pre-ban 25 rd mags for it. All fits right in the nice bag that the takedown came with. For $300 and change, I think it cant be beat.

I think that's going to be my next purchase. I have been waiting to see some reviews on it.

I really like my Ruger 10/22 LVT (Light Varmint & Target), its pretty nice for the money. It's an Acusport gun and comes with a 20" heavy tapered barrel, target trigger, wood stock and sling swivels. Not easy to find, but they are out there.
