What happened to Comm2A Amazon link?

I just noticed in Comm2a's update email "expulsion from Amazon's affiliate program".

I seemed to have missed this earlier? I knew the link couldn't be promoted, but I didn't know that it stopped working? I've been using my bookmark. Is it correct that this now does nothing? If so I will start using smile for some charity or another affiliate link. Does smile work, even though it's much worse than affiliate links?

I suspect most on NES don't know about a change?

If this anything in this post should not be public for some reason, please let me know without quoting and I'll edit it out.

Wait, the Amazon link doesn't work any more? And, the smiley thing isn't worth a hoot? Is there another group that HAS a good working link we could/should use instead? NRA? GOA? GOAL?

todays email from com2a cites an expulsion from amazon affiliate program.. if someone from comm2a can clarify please step in

annual donation inbound either way in the next few days, wish i hit the lottery and dumped a few hundred K, but not looking good for that

I just learned that the old link:

doesn't work, and hasn't for a year and a half.

What happened to all the purchases I made with the above link in the last year?

I assume that smile.amazon.com is the only way to extract cash from Amazon these days, right?
