When the AK is jelly of the AR

It's ugly, but that's my opinion and certainly pretty subjective. It's a throwback, kinda like some genetic error and, like it or not, it's really old looking and has old technology.

The reason the M16 is such a breakthrough is because it's not a finished rifle from the factory. It's a platform to which many different uppers can be attached that do many different jobs and even allow different calibers. That's a milestone in military weaponry. Stealing this idea and that idea from different rifles and cobbling them together does not a new rifle or better rifle get you. It would be the same thing if some company decided to apply wood stocks to their AR15s. I know they exist out there as I've seen them and they, too, are ugly and deserve to be left alone to their technology. I know! Why doesn't someone apply wood paneling to an F1 car. There.....that's the ticket!
