Winchester .21 sharp barrels

Every video I see of people shooting it for groups, it is horribly inaccurate and with huge extreme spreads. I don’t know why.

I had hoped it would be a more reliably precise cartridge than 22lr for competition use. But it just doesn’t seem to be there.

*edit: muzzle velocity extreme spreads

The 22 long rifle has been in existance since 1887. If the 21 sharp isn't as cheap and available, it will never unseat the 22 long rifle as king of the rimfires. It will likely go the way of the 22WRF or even the 5mm.

I never would think it would unseat 22lr, but I thought it could become as common as 17HMR. Mostly for lead free hunting or competition. But I don’t think that will happen. Winchester did poorly.
