if that is what it looks like, it is a removable 410 tube, that is about a foot long, and has two o rings on it. I've got a set just like it, they work fine, i just dont use them anymore because i've got a briley set now.

If the insert is, as 38supermatt says, removeable and it is centered with "O" rings, it is probably the one sold as the Savage "4 tenner".
I haven't seen any of those in quite a while but they used to be popular in part because it was deemed safe to drop them in any creaky old shotgun that you wouldn't feel safe firing with modern shells, YMMV.![[shocked]](/xen/styles/default/xenforo/smilies.vb/007.gif "Shocked [shocked]")
