Would you buy a gun used in a crime?

Why not? It's just a hunka metal (or plastic). How do you know whether any used gun has killed someone or not?

Only if the criminal had good taste...

Ravens, Jennings, etc - no way, not worth the time to do the paperwork.
A "haunted" A5 or handgun (I don't know what they favored for handguns, but assume they weren't junk) from Bonnie and Clyde's car at a price I could afford - IN A HEARTBEAT!

If I had the ability to purchase the firearm, sure. Most of those confiscated were done so any no injuries were involved (drug bust, etc.)

Anything used in a murder would not be released as the entire casefile is never disposed of in the way other files are eventually destroyed.

Chances are, if it's a milsurp, and it looks like it's been through a war, it has been used to kill people.

How about suicide guns? I`ve seen afew in my years @ gun shop- not superstitious, would`nt want regardless of price. What say you?

Sounds like you're pretty superstitious to me!

A gun used in a suicide would most likely have been covered in someone's blood... not a great thing to find when doing a full strip-down cleaning
