Also, legislature is what creates or repeals laws. Problem is Republicans know that they have 2A community by the balls. They don't bother to do ANYTHING for 2A but expect 99% of pro-2A folks to vote republican. Who else are you going to vote for? Democrats? don't be silly!

You’re forgetting that the AG provides direction to the ATF director for how much enforcement goes on. Remember how the past four years saw the sharpest revocation of FFLs? And that the increase was almost all due to extremely minor typographical errors on forms? Yeah, that was at the direction of the AG.

Sure, the AG takes direction from the President, but he doesn’t care too much one way or another about the 2A.
