17-year-old arrested in killing of 2 people in Kenosha

Is it just me or does Heather Williams have a very porn-ish presence? Including the horrible forced dialogue....

Oh man everyone needs to watch this Heather woman. Totally not guilty, but has this 'band camp' aura to her testimony. That and it was all memorized. Entertaining stuff check her out on video at 1:06

Can see the last question by the defense attorney: "And during college what restaurant did you work at? :p

But the prosecution decided to arrest and charge rittenhouse less than 8 hours after the shooting and long before they knew 80% of the evidence. The defense has touched on this some and I’m sure they’ll hammer it more in closing. They say it was a clear case of self defense and there was a rush to judgement by the state and the charges are absurd
The fact that they charged him so quickly is not out of the ordinary, and the extradition issue is a valid one, but you are 100% correct that there was a rush to judgement by the state and the charges should have been dismissed long ago. The "detective" should completely be exposed as being - at best - a lazy hack who did not deviate from the narrow conclusion that was already formed on the night of the shooting, or a devious political operative who tailored the investigation to ensure that only Rittenhouse could be viewed as the guilty party and any evidence to the contrary was "missing". Some people do need to go to jail on this case and it aint Rittenhouse.

When sheep believe, that their only purpose in life is to feed wolves, God sends a Saint!

Looters burned over 100 cars at the dealership? Move on
Car dealership owner is a minority? Move on
Kyle was brutally attacked by criminals? Move on
Police was unable to move criminals out of there! Move on
AR-15! Guilty!

It would be f’in great if he gets hired as an honorary consultant by a firearms company after acquittal…think of the publicity and the lefty heads exploding..

On the plus side, judge dismissed the "curfew" charge.

the defense put Kyle on the stand. What on earth do they gain from this?

I'd expect the defense lawyers feel they've coached him sufficiently (and loaded him down with enough lithium) that testifying has more benefit than risk.

Didn't expect to see Kyle on the stand.

They announced last week he would testify, I don’t think they told the jury though.

If I were defense counsel, I would have planned on having him testify, after all it is a self defense defense, but with how pathetic the case from the prosecution was, I wouldn’t put him on the stand. There is no need, the state didn’t come close to meet the burden if it were a civil case never mind a criminal level beyond a reasonable doubt

The defense has destroyed the prosecution and proved all the lies the media promoted against Kyle. If he is found guilty we know the justice system is totally compromised by liberal Dems and citizens/jurists are either intimidated or too stupid to disseminate fact from fiction/propaganda. I can't wait to see all the liberal heads explode when he's acquitted and the ensuing riots.

Putting him on the stand is a mistake, HUGE, maybe not if facing a moral prosecution - but this obviously isn’t.

All those mistakes the prosecution made….this is the defense saying ‘Hold my beer……’

He can tell his story AFTER the trial. Remember the undeniable truth ‘It’s the court system, not the justice system’

1. He as participating in a riot
2. He chased KR down the road and confronted him and pointed gun at him......clearly bicep boy was the agressor

Sooooooo.....why hasnt he been charged with attempted murder?

and a child molester which means a felon in possession of a firearm. HMMM, selective enforcement of the law?

You'd expect the defense to take a knee and run out the clock, but the context here is a purely political prosecution with jury bias and intimidation concerns. Having watched the first part of his testimony up to the break, I think I understand where the defense's faith is coming from, if that's why they've done it. It's damned hard to see this kid the way the prosecution paints him.
