9 mm carbine

I have a Just Right Carbine in 9mm and it runs rounds like a champ. I purchased all original Glock magazines for it, though. I think the design was built around the original Glock magazines and those who have had issues with the model are likely using Korean cheapos.

Bumping this old thread to see if anyone has had a chance to try one of these. Being a recent Beretta 92-series nut, and a long time fan of the M1 carbine, it seems like a nice fun rifle. Anyone know a shop that stocks them?

I've read reviews that it has some problems . Might want to look into it some more .

I have two AR-based 9mm carbines, one with a "Glock" lower and one with a PSA drop-in mag block (takes Colt-compatible mags). Both run like sewing machines, and are WAY more fun than I thought they'd be. Can't recommend the 9mm AR highly enough.

Agree with this based on my experiences with them as well.

Anything besides the newest generation Kel-Tec Sub 2000 take M&P Mags? I'd be interested in an AR-based 9mm carbine...

An AR 9mm that takes M&P mags? Haven't seen one and even if S&W gets on the bandwagon, I would expect it to take Uzi/Colt mags instead due to the capacity: I've never seen a 32 round M&P mag.

I think his post went like this:

1. (Thought) Are there any carbines out there besides the newest generation Kel-Tec Sub 2000 which take M&P Mags?
2. (New Thought) I'd be interested in an AR-based 9mm carbine...

Yes. This. My apologies for not being clear. TP

3. (Newest Thought) It would be really cool if there was an AR-based carbine that takes M&P mags.

Given the length of time it took to offer a Glock-compatible 9mm AR, I doubt we'd see it. The presence of 33-round mags for the Glock 18 made it a logical choice; there is (to my knowledge) no M&P analog, and what's the market for a 9mm AR with little-bitty 17-rd mags (or worse)?

Make one lol .
You can do what I did with a aluminum lower and cut it off and mill a new magwell and weld it on .

60$ 80% and 4 hours of work beats 400$ grease gun lower .

Or follow Boris casting a lower and cast one for m&p mags .

Picked this up from a fellow NES member not long ago. Feather's AT9 9mm carbine uses uzi mags, and just a fun little gun.
